bloggin’ it up

Posted by Sarah on Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Alright, that’s it. I’m busting out with this blog thing. Once I realized that Jack got his first blog up before mine, I simultaneously shook my fist at the sky and hung my head in shame. I mean, that dude is late for everything. Something strange is going on. AND I WON’T STAND FOR IT.

Anywhooskibunny, so today is Wednesday, my favorite day of the week (besides Freecupcakeday, but that doesn’t exist…. yet) because new comic books rain down from the heavens into my little, greedy-yet-feminine hands.
I’m looking forward to Jack of Fables #7 and Walking Dead #34 specifically because I know, without a doubt, that they will be good. Too many times I have put my heart into a book only to have them switch to a horrible artist or start a story-arch that is pointless or boring. Zombies and fairytale characters have yet to let me down.

Now if only I could combine them.
Little Miss Muffet would have a pet ZOMBIE spider, who would then, in turn, create an ARMY of ZOMBIE SPIDERS and they could make ZOMBIE SPIDER WEBS to catch their prey and live in a ZOMBIE SPIDER FORTRESS made out of fly parts and people would run in terror and….. well, I guess I just want a comic about zombie spiders, now that I think about it.

A comic about flowers and kitties would be awesome, too.

That zombie spider thing sounds…interesting. Try sending the idea to marvel, IDW and Image etc. and see what happens ;)

Steve—

Actually, I think I’ll just write it myself: ZOMBIE SPIDERS (they must be capitalized) vs. Flower Kitties!
Occasionally a kitten gets trapped in a ZOMBIE WEB and all seems lost…. until…. SUPER BUNNY arrives!!

He then tells the kitten, "I’ll save you, if you give me exactly three carrots".

The struggling kitten wails, "But I don’t have any carrots!"

Super Bunny sighs. He sits down, lights up a cigarette, and watches as the ZOMBIE SPIDER is about to eat the kitten’s brains.

BUT THEN, a magical rainbow unicorn flies in, kicks over the bunny, rescues the kitten, and throws pretty fairy dust onto the ZOMBIE SPIDER, making it melt into a pile of greenish goo.

The magical rainbow unicorn and the Flower Kittie then have a party with pretty ladies and lots of booze. The End.

Wow, it really DOES write itself ;)
