Dear Friends,

We wanted to give an official “thank you,” to all of you who have watched, downloaded, subscribed, enjoyed, commented-on, or just downright supported Geek-Week. This project was a blast from minute 1, and we’re all really proud of the result. Most of all, we’re proud of our fans and supporters who stuck with us through the project.

Alas, as with all fun endeavors, we are officially ending Geek-Week. We set out to make the kind of Podcast that WE wanted to watch, and we did. Now, we have new goals in sight and new projects we want to try our hand at. We’re reinstating the forums for the next couple weeks for those of you who wanna chat, ask questions, discuss cheese, etc. After the first of the year, we’ll be closing them down permanently, though the main site will remain up indefinitely.

As with all our previous endeavors, all episodes of Geek-Week will remain online, and will be available here, on itunes, youtube, etc. You can always reach us through this site. We’d love for you guys to stick with us, and to keep up with all our future projects, please visit our other production sites:

It was a fun ride, we learned a lot, (especially about Miss Marvel,) made new friends, (most notably, Lime-Kitty,) and now we must say adieu. So from Jack, Brian, Sarah, Julius Marx, Matt, Mike, Bill, Sean, and of course, The Mighty Thor, we wish you all the best, and Thank You.

Ghost Rider pays his taxes

In case you haven’t see the barrage of Ghost Rider ads that have plagued us over the course of the last few weeks I thought I’d post the best of the bunch.

The sad thing is that a commercial about Ghost Rider paying his taxes is better than the actual advertising for this film. I got the opportunity to work with the director Mark Steven Johnson when he was beginning pre-production on Daredevil. He’s a really great guy, I’m still sad Daredevil was so bad. Unfortunately Ghost Rider looks about the same. Stay tuned for a review from us once the film gets released. Ghost Rider opens February 16th, 2007.

Tony Stark and The Dude share a White Russian!!!!

Well according to the Hollywood Reporter Jeff Bridges just joined the cast of the Iron Man movie as an unnamed character that has long-time ties to Stark Industries, and is a close confidant of Tony Stark. He rounds out the cast along with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Gwenyth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and Terrence Howard as Rhodes. This flick has good times written all over it. So far the folks involved in producing this movie have not made a bad choice yet.

We’ll it took them long enough, but we’re finally seeing some Marvel Zombie merchandise on the shelves. The big rumor this week was that Marvel Select Toys was gonna do some action figures but it turns out we get a statue instead. Not quiet as cool, but at least it’s something.

Also in case you haven’t heard Marvel is doing a “Army of Darkness vs Marvel Zombies” mini series in March. Now that could be fun.

The guys who gave us “Shawn of the Dead” are bringing us a new movie..“Hot Fuzz”. The new trailer hit the web last week and it’s funny as hell.
