How to Contact Google Tez Customer Care?

You can request a chat or call back to your number from the Google Tez Customer Care. 

  1. Go to Settings from your Tez App
  2. Scroll down and check “Help & Feedback” section
  3. You will find “Contact US” button.
  4. You can see 2 options popping up saying “CHAT” or “PHONE”
  5. If you want to CHAT with the Tez Support team – Select CHAT and initiate a chat. Tez Support team with a chat with you regarding any of the issue.
  6. If you want to Call and talk with Tez Customer Care (Support team) you can select PHONE and provide your number to request a call back within few minutes.

Referral Reward Tips and Tricks (TEZ Offers):

  • Make sure the person you invited signed up through the referral link and did not go to play store/app store directly
    • Pro Tip: good to double check with the person you’ve invited and even better to explicitly tell them or guide them when they signup through your link

How to Create Account/Set Up Your Account on Google Tez?

Note: You’ll need a Google account, an active Indian (+91) phone number and an active Indian bank account to set up Tez

Following are the must be needed before you activate your Google Tez account:

  • 2. An Active Indian (+91 code) Phone number
  • 3. An Active Indian Bank Account (Registered with UPI)

How to Add a bank account on Google Tez?

Check to make sure that your bank is on this UPI list. If it isn’t, your bank account won’t work with Tez.

  • 1. Your Bank Account must be under UPI list. If your bank account is not under UPI list, You can set up an active account under your Google Tez App.
  • 2. You check from this link – UPI banks list, whether your bank account is under UPI list.
  • 3. In the top-left, tap your photo > Bank account.
  • 4. Tap Add bank account.
  • 5. Choose your bank from the list. If you don’t see your bank, it doesn’t work with Tez yet.
  • If you are facing any issue contact Google Tez Customer Care.

Note: You might need to give Tez permission to send a verification SMS to your bank.

  1. Check that the mobile number you use for Tez is the same one that you have listed on your bank account. If not, you’ll need to change your phone number.
  2. Make sure that there weren’t any mistakes in your account or card number, PIN or OTP.
  3. Try to add the account again.

Verify OTP to your mobile number is mandatory. If you have issues receiving OTP from Google Tez App, Kindly comment below our support team will be responding within a short time and resolve your issue.

If you have an existing UPI PIN, you will be asked to enter it. If you don’t remember your PIN, you can click on Forgot PIN and follow the instructions. If you don’t have a UPI PIN, you will need to enter your debit card information. Because Maestro debit cards don’t have expiry dates, you’ll need to use 01/49 as the expiry date.

How to Change your Google PIN using Forgot Google PIN?

  1. Open Google Tez App.
  2. In the top-left, tap your photo > Security.
  3. Select Use Google PIN.
  4. Tap Forgot PIN.
  5. Follow the instructions.

Note: If Google PIN is active, you’ll need to be connected to the Internet to open the app.

  1. Open Google Tez App.
  2. In the top-left, tap your photo > Security.

    • Select Use Google PIN to use Google PIN

How to Send Money through Google Tez App:

How to Send money to someone nearby through Google Tez App?

You can send money to someone near you who uses Google Tez App.

Note: Tez app uses audio pairing to help you connect with nearby users. You’ll need to let Tez use your microphone.

  1. Make sure that the person you want to send money to has Tez installed on their phone.
  2. Open Google Tez app on both phones.
  3. Slide the circle in the middle of the screen up towards ‘Pay’. Ask the other person to slide the circle down towards ‘Receive’.
  4. When it appears, tap their profile photo. If you don’t see their photo:
    1. Go to the home screen.
    2. Tap More More and then Scan QR code.
    3. Ask the person to pull up their QR code so that you can scan it.
      Note: To do this, you’ll need to let Tez use your camera.
  5. Enter the amount and description and select the form of payment.
  6. Tap Proceed to pay.
  7. Enter your UPI PIN.
  8. If you are facing any issue kindly contact Google Tez Customer Care.

When the money has been sent, you will get a notification.

Send money to someone anywhere in India

To pay one of your contacts, no matter where they are in India:

  1. Open Google Tez App.
  2. From the bottom of the screen, swipe up.
  3. Under ‘Payments’, tap a contact. If you don’t see the person that you want to send money to, tap New and search for them by name, phone number, account number or UPI ID.
  4. Tap Pay.
  5. Enter the amount and description and select the form of payment.
  6. Tap Proceed to pay.
  7. Enter your UPI PIN.

When the money has been sent, you’ll get a notification. You’ll also receive an SMS from your bank with the debited amount.

Note: If your transaction to your contact’s bank account fails, the bank might debit the money from your bank account and then refund it. In this case, you will receive two SMS’s, one for the debit and the second for the refund.

How to Check your Account Balance in Google Tez APP?View account balance

You can view your account balance simply by following below steps.

  1. Open Google Tez App.
  2. In the top-left, tap your photo and Click > Bank account.
  3. Click on the account & choose whose balance you want to check.
  4. Tap View Balance.
  5. Enter your UPI PIN.

About Google Tez APP:

Demonization made India take its step towards digital India. Nowadays mostly the money transactions are taken over digitally. So Google made the transactions simple by launching Google Tez app. It is a mobile payment app which works on both Android and IOS devices. On September 18, 2017, this app has been by Finance Minister of India Arun Jaitley.

The Google Tez app is designed on UPI ( Unified Payments Interface) platform built by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). The user needs to add the own bank details with which the debit’s and credits are been held. This platform enables users to transfer money without recipient’s bank account number and IFSC code. Every Tez user will have unique UPI ID which acts as a proxy for the account number and IFSC code.

        All the PNB users are facing this problem, the earned rewards are not getting credited into PNB account and after few days, status changes to “oops, Payment could not be completed – ACTION REQUIRED ! “.
        I tried to contact Tez customer support in every way possible but didn’t get a reply. For all other banks, Rewards are getting credited within minutes of earning.
        I would be thankful if GeekWeek if you could somehow relay this message to the right authorities.

    Their is no resolution for the scratch money not credited to bank issue.
    everytime someone asks you regarding this issue, you give same reply to wait for 24 hours
    it has been 1 week since i have not received my money and thousands of queries i posted on feedback form in Tez app. but no resolution.
    Just making fool and that’s why i’ve stopped referring anyone now.
    Thanks, me too will leave this app and never recommend anyone.

    I have been trying to contact them. I see only call as a n option, and every time they call, just the music keeps on playing and no one attends.       If you can’t send or receive money or the transaction fails, try the following.

      With people nearby
      Note: Some phone models can’t use this feature

      Make sure that you both have an Internet connection.
      Bring your phones closer together. Your phone should not be more than a few inches away from the other person’s phone.
      Remove any cases or covers.
      Make sure that one person is in ‘Pay’ mode and that the other is in ‘Receive’ mode.
      If the area is noisy, move to a quieter place.
      Tap Update device calibration and try again.
      Make sure that you’re using the right PIN with the right payment account. You can change your PIN anytime.
      Check your payment account information to make sure that it isn’t outdated. If it is, update it.
      Make sure that the person sending the money has enough money in their account to cover the transaction.
      See if you’ve reached your transaction limit.
      If these steps don’t work, try to send or receive a payment by QR code or search your contact by name, phone number, account number or UPI ID.

      Make sure that you have an Internet connection.

    i have added my colleague Subrata Ghosal(8743822796-HDFC account) on 10th October 2017 through tez app .On 11th october Mr Ghosal revieved his cash amount 51 but mine is till pending.

    In another case i transferred 50rs to Mr. Rohit Gupta(9045996601-PNBaccount) on 10th October 2017 and we both recieved a scratch card respectively.I was rewarded with 27rs cash but the same is still pending .Since 48 hours has been passed so please help me with my issue.

    Please Refund the pending money in my Account.
